Branson Gears Up for Christmas
It's been Christmastime in Branson since November 1, but since Thanksgiving has passed, it is officially time to begin the Christmas festivities. The Stone Castle Hotel is decked out with a large lobby Christmas tree and outside Christmas lights lining each of the three buildings. Not only is The Stone Castle Hotel in full Christmas gear, but the rest of Branson is as well.
Whether you drive down Hwy. 76 or see one of the family-friendly Branson shows, you're sure to leave in the Christmas spirit. Along with the Christmas decorations are the many Christmas events happening throughout the next month. Among these events are the various Christmas shows now taking place in the Branson theaters, the parade and Christmas shows at Silver Dollar City, and the community-wide events to celebrate Branson's centennial year.
Branson's Adoration Celebration will take place on Sunday, December 2, beginning at 10 am with a community centennial adoration service at the Branson Convention Center. This event is open to all and will be a great celebration of all that Branson has been over the past 100 years. Later that evening will be the 64th Annual Adoration Parade and nativity lighting ceremony which begins at 5 pm overlooking Lake Taneycomo.
