Independence Day Quickly Approaches
"On this day in 1950, President Truman ordered the Air Force and Navy into the Korean War following a call from the United Nations Security Council for member nations to help South Korea repel an invasion from the North." NYTimes.com
As Independence Day draws closer, The Stone Castle Hotel wishes to extend a sincere "Thank you" to each service member, whether currently serving or a veteran, and also to each family who has served faithfully alongside their service member. Branson is one of the most veteran-friendly towns in the United States, which can be seen each and every day. Whether on a stage inside a theater or on a billboard which reads, "Thank you!", Branson appreciates and honors veterans each and every day.
Branson activities celebrating the fourth of July have already begun, including College of the Ozarks' annual Honor America event. More events will take place this weekend, and will continue throughout next week.
