Yesterday I promised to show you more of what our Executive Chef can do.
To the left you'll see a watermelon fruit basket as well as a floral watermelon our chef created. This was part of a salad bar we catered to a military group. The salad bar included a wide variety of vegetables and other goodies to top off their salads. We also provided a variety of cheeses, crackers, and fruits. What a delicious night they had!
This weekend our chef will be making the following dishes:
-Parmesan Breaded Chicken with Stuffing
-Roast Sirloin of Beef
Check back Monday to view pictures of these events.
This week you have read about our television updates and some of the items our chef can cook up. Now, let me tell you about one more thing to end this week on a good note.
If you've ever stayed at our hotel before, you know what a wonderful maintenance staff we have. These men work hard each and every day and our property is well-maintained because of them. We are thankful for their hard work and dedication to our property.
One of their recent projects was our gazebo and waterfall area. The gazebo was needing some TLC and the waterfall needed some mulch work and major cleaning. The maintenance men replaced old boards, repainted, cleaned the dirt and grime off the wood, power washed the stones, added mulch to the landscaped area, and thoroughly cleaned the pond. What a wonderful difference they made!
Our gazebo area and pond are beautiful and add a wonderful sitting/reading/picnic/gathering area for guests. The gazebo can also be rented out for special occasion use by contacting our group sales department (417-335-4700 or 800-677-6906).
For your viewing pleasure, I have included some pictures of the recent outdoor improvements:
