The Stone Castle Hotel hosted its annual employee Christmas party on Friday, December 14. The afternoon began with a delicious traditional Christmas dinner for lunch, then fun games followed. Later that evening, the employees were invited back with their families as Santa and Mrs. Claus visited and handed out goodies. Enjoy the pictures below.

Joe Modglin, Director of Sales and Assistant General Manager, received a letter in the mail last week from a previous group leader/tour planner. In the letter (shown to the left), the group leader expressed his appreciation to the staff of The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center. The leader specifically mentioned the staff's quick response to a situation, their professionalism, and preparedness.

It's been Christmastime in Branson since November 1, but since Thanksgiving has passed, it is officially time to begin the Christmas festivities. The Stone Castle Hotel is decked out with a large lobby Christmas tree and outside Christmas lights lining each of the three buildings. Not only is The Stone Castle Hotel in full Christmas gear, but the rest of Branson is as well. 

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center and its employees would like to extend a warm "Happy Thanksgiving" to all of our guests. We are all very thankful for your business throughout this year and look forward to the Christmas season and 2013. The Stone Castle has much to be thankful for this year: an awesome new General Manager, wonderful ownership, a great staff, and many repeat guests. What more could a hotel ask for? 

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center was proud to be a part of two events during Branson's Veterans Week. Stone Castle hosted the Women Veteran's rose petal ceremony and luncheon on Friday, November 9. This event brought approximately 40 women veterans to The Stone Castle Hotel. These ladies were able to hear Major General (Retired) Rita Aragon, veteran and award-winning author Merline Lovelace, and Missouri's Women Veterans Coordinator Amy Bennett speak at the event. Later that day, the Korean War mini reunion was held at Stone Castle as well.

To all of our country's veterans and active duty military personnel and families, The Stone Castle Hotel staff extends a warm "Thank You" for your sacrifice. As we celebrate Veteran's Day Sunday and throughout this Branson Veteran's Week, we are reminded of your sacrifice and the freedoms that  you have defended and are still defending today. Thank you.
