Veterans Week

To all of our country's veterans and active duty military personnel and families, The Stone Castle Hotel staff extends a warm "Thank You" for your sacrifice. As we celebrate Veteran's Day Sunday and throughout this Branson Veteran's Week, we are reminded of your sacrifice and the freedoms that  you have defended and are still defending today. Thank you.

Branson Hotel Theme Suite: Camelot

On Guard! Camelot was the majestic court of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere where they hosted tournaments and feasts. Be warned--King Arthur’s sword, Excalibur, is kept in the rock for safekeeping and must not be removed!

Military Reunion Compliment

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center received the following letter this morning from a recent military reunion planner:

"Dear Mr. Modglin,

On behalf of the members of the 589th Engineer Battalion Association (Vietnam) I want to thank you and the Hotel's staff for the service and hospitality during our reunion, September 13-16, 2012.

Employee Appreciation Picnic

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center has a wonderful staff. At the request of The Stone Castle's ownership, today the staff enjoyed a picnic lunch complete with the General Manager, Jay Wilson, grilling. Employees were able to take a break, enjoy the sunshine around the gazebo area, and fellowship. Hamburgers and hot dogs with all the trimmings, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips, cookies, brownies, and cakes, with tea and lemonade, were available for The Stone Castle's team of employees. A great time of food and fellowship was enjoyed by all who attended.

Teacher Fun Month

October 2012 has been declared as "Teacher Fun Month." Many businesses are offering special discounts to teachers (such as free admission to shows and attractions and discounts on meals) with proper credentials. The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center is offering teachers 50% off rack rate of any rooms during the month of October, based upon availability and with proper credentials.

To reserve your room, call the front desk at 800-677-6906 and mention "Teacher Fun Month."

Branson Fall Events

As fall has officially arrived and since October is just around the corner, Branson is gearing up for a great fall season. Several events have already taken place such as the Autumn Daze craft festival, but there are many still to come. Silver Dollar City's National Harvest Place will run through October 27 and features a tribute to the great American cowboy. Dolly Parton's "Whoadeo", an event free for children and their parents, will take place on Saturday, October 6 at Dixie Stampede.

Recent Military Reunions

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center has hosted five military reunions in September thus far, and is looking forward to hosting five more this month. Fall is a very busy time for Branson military reunions, and The Stone Castle very much enjoys hosting these reunions. Employees count it an honor to host these reunions, and enjoy being able to hear stories from veterans firsthand.
