Today we recognize those who have served this country faithfully. We are forever grateful for the sacrifice of yourselves, your families, and loved ones. Thank you for giving of your time, effort, and will. To those who have given the ultimate sacrifice of their lives, may your families be comforted knowing that you were serving a great nation. May we forever look to God first as our leader; under His direction will we be fruitful and protected.
We honor the veterans who have served in the following wars:
World War II
The Korean War
The Vietnam War
The Cold War
The War on Terrorism (War in Afghanistan)
Operation Iraqi Freedom (War in Iraq)
as well as the many other military operations that have taken place throughout the world.
"It is the VETERAN, no the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
It is the VETERAN, not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the VETERAN, not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
It is the VETERAN, not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
It is the VETERAN, not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
It is the VETERAN, not the politician,
who has given us the right to vote.
It is the VETERAN who salutes the flag.
It is the VETERAN who serves under the flag.
THANK YOU to all who have served and are currently serving under Old Glory.
