The following letter was received by our Director of Sales yesterday. We are thankful for the sincere and heartfelt letter sent by this military association's president.
"Dear Mr. Modglin,
On behalf of the members of the 589th Engineer Battalion Association (Vietnam) I want to thank you and the Hotel Staff for the service and hospitality during our reunion, September 15-18, 2011.
This was the third reunion for this group of Army Engineers who served with the 589th Engineer Battalion and attached units in Vietnam during the period 1967 through 1971. We had a wonderful experience renewing old friendships and making new ones. As you know, this was our first Reunion in the Branson area and the attending members voted overwhelming to return next year
The experience was enhanced by the friendliness, attentiveness and professionalism of you and your staff. Many of the attendees commented that they felt as though they were at home in your facility. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the meeting rooms provided an intimate gathering place for us to conduct business and relive old memories.
The facility was very conducive to our planned events and located for easy access to the different Branson Area activities and attractions.
In particular, we wanted to note the hospitality and helpfulness of every staff member we encountered. From check in to check out the staff bent over backwards to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center. Their support was truly appreciated by our members, spouses and guests.
Good luck with the remodeling and construction plans you described to me and the other Association Officers.
Please extend our most sincere "Thank You" to your entire staff. Feel free to contact me or any of the other Association Officers or members if we can ever be of service.
Very Truly Yours,
President of the Association"
Thank you, Perry, for sending us such a wonderful letter. We appreciate your support of our hotel. We are sincerely thankful for your service and sacrifice to our great nation. We are forever grateful.
