Veteran week in Branson is a fantastic event. With red, white and blue painted on windows, Old Glory flying high, and thousands of veterans gathered, Veterans Day is celebrated in Branson like nowhere else. From free lunches for veterans, free attraction tickets, and mini reunions taking place November 5-11, this week will host numerous veterans and their families.
The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center is proud to host two of the Veteran Week events: the Korean War Mini Reunion and the Rose Petal Ceremony and Women Veterans Appreciation Luncheon. The Korean War Mini Reunion took place this afternoon in our Stonehenge room and hosted approximately 250 Korean War Veterans and their wives who braved the stormy weather to fellowship together. Many men received medals and awards, and some walked away with gift baskets. To see these men fellowship and tell stories of their war days is especially humbling and is a great honor. The picture above is part of a local group of Korean War veterans who attended the mini reunion this afternoon.
The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center sincerely appreciates the sacrifices of so many who have served this country faithfully and without wavering. We salute you!
