Yesterday we said goodbye to an Adult Senior Retreat held here at our hotel. This is a church group that comes to our hotel several times each year and they always have a grand time. They bring their senior adults, adults, and ministers for conferences in Branson. The groups that come to our hotel are always very lively and enjoy a wonderful stay. We are excited to have this group back in the Spring.

Along with the cooler weather in Branson comes a busy calendar month. September is looking to be an event-filled month not only in Branson, but also at The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center. As the trees change their color, more events come to Branson, and we are thankful for each one.

This month Branson welcomes several events honoring the 10th anniversary of the tragic September 11 events, the National Harvest Festival begins at Silver Dollar City, the 38th Annual Autumn Daze Arts and Crafts Festival is held in town, the K-Swiss 70.3 Ironman Triathlon occurs, and several...

The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center is made up of many wonderful employees. There are various positions which are vital to the successful operation of the property. From the housekeepers to the front desk clerks, the maintenance men and the management team, each person plays a vital role.

One of these vital roles is the that of Group Coordinator. The Stone Castle's Group Coordinator is Marlene Caldwell; wife, mother, and very hard worker.


Yesterday I promised to show you more of what our Executive Chef can do.

To the left you'll see a watermelon fruit basket as well as a floral watermelon our chef created. This was part of a salad bar we catered to a military group. The salad bar included a wide variety of vegetables and other goodies to top off their salads. We also provided a variety of cheeses, crackers, and fruits. What a delicious night they had!

This weekend our chef will be making the following dishes:

-Parmesan Breaded Chicken with Stuffing
-Grilled Salmon
-Roast Beef
