Emergency and Safety
Our #1 priority at The Stone Castle Hotel & Conference Center™ is the safety of our guests and team members. Here are some of the ways we have prioritized safety:
911 – The Branson community is part of the 911 Emergency System. Police and fire department personnel have been trained to handle all emergency services in our community.
24 Hour Front Desk – We staff our front desk all day and all night in order to make sure our guests have an emergency contact at any time. The front desk can be reached by dialing “O” for assistance.
Security – Our maintenance staff is on duty 24 hours per day. Our night maintenance staff is trained to appropriately respond to guest emergencies and needs.
Emergency Procedures – Fire escape route are clearly listed on the back of each guest room’s entry door.
In the unlikely event of fire WOULD YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO? Here are some suggestions:
First, find two exits nearest your room. Be sure they are unlocked and unblocked. Then, count doors between your room and exits so you’ll have a reference point if it’s smokey.
When you hear an alarm, act, don’t investigate.
If fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Once out, report the fire.
In case a fire is detected by you, go to the nearest ALARM BOX AND PULL GENERAL FIRE ALARM. Use nearest Exit to ground level. Alarm enunciator panel at our Front Desk will indicate position of alarm pulled.
Do not sleep with your window open.
If fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel your door. If it’s cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl in smoke. Fresh air will be at the floor. Take your key so you can go back if you can’t use your exits.
If your room door is hot, don’t open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal at your window. Call the fire department and wait to be rescued.
Fire Hazards:
Smoking is not permitted in any guest or common area of our hotel.
Candles, flammable items and fireworks are not permitted on the premises.
Hot plates or other cooking utensils are not permitted in guest rooms.
Door Locks – Lock (and dead bolt) your door for your protection.
When leaving room, assure that your door is closed and locked. When traveling
with children, it is suggested that you establish an entry code word to avoid
opening a door to a stranger. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff is trained to announce themselves at the door.
